the circle of doom, and other news

Well, for those of you who have tried to ride Billy's trains, you may have experienced the circle of doom as the videos slowly download, making them look as though they are slamming on the brakes every few seconds.

Well no more!

​What else is happening?

First, the Billy Trip series is getting a makeover. I am currently in the process of writing a non-Christmas version of book 1 (The Incredible Shrinking Christmas). Obviously it will have to be called something else because Father Christmas will be replaced by someone who is rather nasty, but the ending will still lead nicely into book 2 in much the same way as the Christmas version.

Second, book 3 is nearly finished too, so hopefully I'll be coming to a school or library near you with some readings in the latter half of the year.

And third, I will be posting another short story (an adult ghost story this time), within the next couple of weeks. So keep an eye here, on my blog.
